This secretary is from my Grandma's house, as is the floral vase on the top shelf. Hubby graciously re-stained it and fixed up some broken pieces, and it looks very nice! It is holding some teacups and book collections: LHOTP, Anne of Green Gables, C.S. Lewis, and a collection of older stories from the library book sale.
(It was a relief to find all the parts and the key to open the cupboard at the bottom! And to get it all put back together. I think it's been in the garage since July!)
A fun little project for the girls' room: I spray painted an old frame white, printed off some digital scrapbook paper for the background, and crocheted these sweet hearts using embroidery floss. (tutorial here.) I used glue dots to adhere the hearts to the paper.

Betsy--it's the nesting energy--I feel some unproductivity in the future...so it will be your turn to inspire me then. :)
